Dr. Ashis Jalote Parmar is an Indian design educator working in the intersection of design, engineering and management education. Ashis strongly advocates the role of design thinking both in bringing a paradigm shift in engineering and management education. She is currently a professor of design in the business policy group in the Indian Institute of Management, IIMA, India. At IIMA her main line of work apart from research is to build a design ecosystem in IIMA by developing and delivering courses in design thinking for MBA's, and executive MBA's and management development programs.
Joy Purkayastha is Resident Editor at The Times of India, Pune.
