Director, Prime Minister’s Office India

Binoy Job is currently Director of the Prime Minister's Office and one of the rising young leaders in India's public leadership. For his contribution in eradicating poverty and bringing social change using media, activism and public policy tools, he has been honored with the  Young Global Leader award by the World Economic Forum and also chosen as one of Asia's 21 Young Leaders by the Asia Society. A young achiever, he has experience in leadership roles in a wide range of fields such as Journalism, Civic Leadership, Public Policy, Social Innovation and Government. He is founder of many initiatives for development such as 'Leaders For Tomorrow'- one of India's largest youth movement of volunteers, Development Channel-  a media initiative focussing on social change, and Igniting Young Minds-an educational initiative for under privileged children. He is one of the 40 under 40 achievers recognised for the huge social impact he has made through social and public policy initiatives. He is an alumni of Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, London School of Economics and Delhi University. 

Research Topic: 

During the Fellowship, Binoy will be doing research on Australian youth, the public policy initiatives of Governments of Australia for youth, and how the youth are engaged in voluntarism. He will study how these lessons can be used for the Development of India's youth.
